Frances’ theoretical background is in Humanistic/Integrative psychotherapy while incorporating CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy). This approach to therapy acknowledges the unique nature of every client and allows for a therapeutic approach that best meets the requirements of each individual. Using a collaborative approach with emphasis on the importance of the therapeutic relationship, the aim is to create a safe and confidential space from which clients can explore the challenges experienced in life and develop the skills and resources within themselves to deal with these challenges and overcome obstacles.
Frances has experience working with clients in a variety of areas, including anxiety, anger, bereavement and grief, depression, relationship issues, self-harm and suicidal ideation, etc. Frances has lived and worked in Ireland, USA and Asia and follows a holistic approach to health and well-being.
